Founded in 1999, Ma Maison’s portfolio includes an array of residential, commercial and hospitality projects from across the country.

Joanne began her career in lighting and design thanks to a nudge from her architect friend and colleague who was early in his career, but who is now one of the southeasts most prominent architects. He quickly noticed her innate talent while working together on her own residence in Atlanta and encouraged her to work with him on a few client projects.

Her keen eye for design and love of antiques, craftsmanship and interiors was a perfect match for a career path in decorative lighting design. Joanne’s primary niche lies in specifying decorative lighting for architects and designers on both exterior and interior projects.

She considers herself fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some amazingly talented architects and designers, and fabulous clients across the country.

Joanne currently resides in St. Simons Island, Georgia with her corgi Nelia, who manages her office. Her work has been featured in such publications as Veranda Magazine, Coastal Living, Southern Accents Magazine, LUXE Magazine.
